Movement and rhythm have always been an important part of my life. I have been practicing and living the benefits of moving the mind, body and soul through dance, traveling, music and different movement therapies for more than ten years.

I was introduced to yoga by a friend in Byron Bay, Australia, and I fell in love with the grounding and empowering sensation that I felt after that class! Since then, I have been exploring and practicing different styles such as Anusara, Vinyasa flow, Asthanga, Rocket and Yin Yoga.

It was when I immersed myself into the practice of stillness through Yin Yoga that I fully integrated and embodied what movement means and does to me; developing a deeper awareness of my body and Self. And this is what I try to share in the Yin yoga classes.

When it comes to the Vinyasa classes I love to combine flow with creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a good dose of core strength, in an environment where movement is lead by breath and where we have fun expanding our boundaries together!

It was yoga that found me and not the other way around. From my very first class I fell in love with yoga. Not because of how flexible or relaxed it could make me feel but for it’s capacity to heal me like nothing else could. It makes me feel free, honest and beautiful. But most importantly yoga gives me peace.

I have been practicing yoga for 10 years of which the past three I have been teaching. I never believed that this would be my path but I had the trust that yoga would lead me. I am an internationally certified yoga teacher by the Andalusian Yoga School (Escuela Andaluza de Yoga. I am also an aerial yoga teacher certified by the national aero yoga association (Asociación Nacional de Yoga Aereo ANYA).

To me qualifications and certificates don’t matter. The most important aspect should be the flow of energy. The way one receives and gives. The way a teacher can also heal through its students. How they can teach you and not only you teaching them.

To me yoga is freedom, trust and humbleness.
