Hatha Flow – Level 1-2 Description

In Hatha Flow yoga, each movement is synchronised with the breath. The breath is the anchor that links one movement to the next.
We bring our awareness, attention and focus in each movement. There is a rhythm in the movements that follows the breath and helps us to still the mind and reconnect to our body.

Expect to move, sometimes vigorously, from pose to pose, generating strength and flexibility.

Alignment Yoga – Level 1 Description

The hallmarks of this yoga are: body alignment, prolonged stay in the poses, intelligent sequencing and usage of props that allow to work in a remarkably varied and unique way, ensuring the practice is challenging but safe.

Through demonstrations, individual feedback and hands on adjustments, the focus is on learning, not only doing. This method develops strength and endurance in addition to flexibility and relaxation.

This class is addressed to those who are beginners or those more experienced in other methods who would like to learn a more technical approach.

Anusara Elements – Level 2 Description

Anusara means “to flow with Grace”. The aim of the practice is to find a soft heart, sharp mind and vibrant body.

In this class we will explore Universal Principles of Alignment, important to skilfully align your body, heart and mind to enhance strength, flexibility and to experience more bliss and joy in your yoga practice and every day life.

Integral Yoga – Level 1-2 Description

Integral Yoga® is a system of Yoga that synthesizes six branches of classical Yoga philosophy and practice: Hatha, Raja, Bhakti, Karma, Jnana, and Japa Yoga.

Its aim is to integrate body, mind, and spirit by combining physical practices and philosophical approaches to life in order to develop the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of individuals.

This is a comprehensive, balanced class with a steady flow, relaxation between asanas, and guided instruction throughout.

Each class:

  • emphasizes on inner awareness and the breath, giving a very personal experience to each student.
  • allows for everyone to get the maximum benefit while preventing injury.
  • consists of a threaded sequence of poses followed by deep relaxation, breathing practices, and meditation.

Meditation is a powerful tool to transform and enhance life. It’s a great way to release tensions and to reconnect to your innermost self. It helps you to be more present and enjoy the beauty of life.

It also helps you to focus better and in return perform better in work, sports, creativity and interpersonal relationships.

When we meditate, we access the self healing capacity of our bodies and mind. We get to ease stress, reduce anxiety, cope better with pain, reduce ruminative thinking.

This all leaves you with a tremendous sense of power and control over your life.

Yin Yoga – Level 1-2 Description

In Yin Yoga we explore long held therapeutic asanas, that generate the flow of vital energy through the fascia helping us to release deep layers of contraction held in the connective tissue.

Yin yoga influences and invigorates the energy centers of the body to release blockages and increase the energy flow.

With this practice we restore the harmony in our mind-body system cultivating flexibility in our physical body.

Without the distraction of constant movement and muscle engagement, our connective tissue has the opportunity to stretch and we are able to go much deeper into a pose.

It also helps to balance our mental and emotional body by developing awareness of inner silence and using mindfulness tools.
Yin yoga is accessible for everyone, we focus mainly on the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. The practice is mostly done staying low on the floor.

Challenge your body and mind and enrol on this journey to the Self by holding deep stretches for several minutes.

Morning Yoga Level 1 Description

In this class we practice gentle yoga to allow for your body to open and your day to begin with ease and joy.

Starting your day with yoga means that you are starting your day cultivating awareness of the breath, the body and the mind.

You will get the energy moving in the body, stretch and unwind the muscles and start the day with a calm mind.

If you start your day with yoga, there is a greater chance that you will maintain a calm and ease throughout your day.

Gentle Yoga – Level 1 Description

Gentle yoga supports individuals facing health challenges at any level manage their condition, reduce symptoms, restore balance, increase vitality, and improve attitude.

The use of props such as belts, chairs, blankets and even the wall allow the students to perform the poses with a great deal of precision and ease.

This class is aimed at those students who have challenges in a general yoga class, but also at those who want to learn to prevent, alleviate and treat basic special needs for a safe and rewarding yoga practice.

Yoga for Kids – The Pedayogy method

Inspired by Bowspring Yoga, Lululand brings you this innovative yoga practice, the Pedayogi Method. This method, especially adapted for children aged 4 to 12, educates their emotions through movement.

It is a practice of mindfulness, sensory stimulation and white pedagogy whilst reconnecting them with their potential BEING and the pure force that lives within. They learn to manage body, mind and spirit / heart, for their best development at home, school and in their daily lives.
